Darius @ 25 months

At 25 months,

He loves:
1. To Climb Up and Down the Stairs By Himself. When we try to hold one of his hands, he would shake our hands away or protest.
2. To play with toy cars or buses. He plays very often with them nowadays. And he would move them to go left and right or up and down ramps instead of just always turning them over and turning the wheels. He would even mumble to himself and do some imaginary play. His favourite is to turn the cars upside down and go “uh oh!”
3. To point to things around him and ‘name’ them. He would look at us and we must acknowledge it, going “yes…it is this” or “yes.. right.” Otherwise, he keeps chanting non-stop.

His favourite video on YouTube at the moment:
They took away the Dr Seuss Videos! *sob sob. Now we have nothing to watch…
but previously, he was liking,
1. Go, Dog, Go!
2. I can read with my eyes shut!
3. Owl Babies (still on YouTube)
I had since gotten him the books and he must get us to read Go,Dog,Go! at least once a day.

He has learnt to read these NEW words and pronounced them (some not so accurately) the past 2 months since my last update at 23months:

(After I tested him in reading from the books, I took out a notepad and wrote each word and asked him, “What is This?” . He was able to read most and not all. This is to make sure he really knew how to read and was not just memorising the pages, sequence or pictures in the books.) Was surprised to do a calculation that he reads about 134 words now!
