It was our second Mother’s Day together.
We brought you to Polliwogs for play and had a tiring time going through the obstacles.
We braved the heavy downpour with a tiny umbrella to the Waraku restaurant just beside
where Mummy had a sumptuous treat from Daddy. You were given a cute toy to play with and
fell sleepy when we were finishing. So we sat by the seaside while you napped and enjoyed
couple time looking at the sea and photographing funny pictures with the swimming toy.

Stuff that happened:
1. Was given a door gift of a fake flower symbolising Mother’s Day.
2. Daddy has just recovered from high fever on Saturday and was still feeling weak. Hence, Mummy did a lot of the obstacle course. (Wasn’t it supposed to be her rest day?)
3. It started raining very heavily near 12noon when it was supposed to be the hottest time of the day.
4. Daddy forgot to bring an extra umbrella. (“I thought I put two into the bag?!”)
5. Mummy and Daddy shared a small umbrella in the merciless rain which still got them soaked. You had the cover of the stroller and rain cover.
6. Mummy made a brave decision to walk barefoot through the rain so she wouldn’t get her canvas shoes wet. “Ouch! Ouch…” (Floor was sharp gravel.)
7. Mummy and Daddy spent couple time on a bench at the beach staring at the sea and enjoying the breeze for a while. No internet, no television, no xbox, no food.
8. They played with macro shots and the subject was Mr. Swimmer toy. He was placed on a piece of leaf in a puddle of water which immediately sank.
9. Mr. Swimmer did butterfly strokes in the big puddle of water which got Mummy laughing hard. You woke up… but decided to go back to sleep.
10. Finally, we went back to Polliwogs for more play and headed for home shortly.
