Instead of pampering ourselves with gifts for each other on our 5th Wedding Anniversary (church wedding and customary) which falls on today, we decided to get Darius some new toys instead. ^^|

With Metro having 20% discount on blue tag items, while Kiddy Palace offering 20% discount for members on all regular items, this is a good time to go toy shopping.

After browsing through the toys in both stores, we ended up buying a Vtech Musical DJ Junior and a Fisher Price Learning Phone. Both toys are electronic-based and it was not by coincidence.

We have observed that Darius has been showing more interests towards electronic toys, such as his LeapFrog Musical Table (see Musical Table for Darius (Part 2)) and a few other electronic toys he possesses. It appears that the music, lights and the interactivity provided by these toys kept his attention on them longer.

As usual, he doesn’t show as much interests on his two new toys yet, as he belongs to the cautious and slow-to-warm-up type, and it will take a while before he start feeling more familiar with them to enjoy them fully. ^^

Darius particularly loves pressing the green button. I wonder why?
