Like what Catherine told me, probably Darius knew I was the one holding the bear and he will get very happy as long as he knows there's someone playing with him. Also, unlike some babies I came across, he doesn't grow to have attachment to any item (blanket, soft toy, pillow etc). This is not a bad thing though. ^^ It looked like whining to me, as it was taken right after I put him down on a sitting position while he was happily cruising.
