We came across this carnival situated just besides Woodlands’ Civic Centre last Saturday night , and decided to bring Dairus there for a walk since he had never been to one before.
Entering the area with lots of flashing lights, Darius couldn’t help but turning his head left and right repeatedly to check out his surroundings. Good to see he’s curious and interested in the carnival, despite already past his usual sleeping time.
We came across a mini Viking ship, which swung forward and backwards and went higher with each swing. Though small, the ride still looked pretty exciting, and definitely not for Darius at his age.
We also saw this safari train ride, which moved around a rectangular track at a moderate speed. Only one boy was at the ride at that time though. How lonely!
The more interesting rides were the giant slide and the human bubble: The giant slide was made up of a really huge inflated float, and children would climb up its stairs and slide down from above. The slide was really big and I estimated the slide was around three storeys high?
The other interesting ride was the human bubble, which allowed children to go into this large transparent bubble before it was inflated fully with air. The blown up bubble would then be pushed into this big pool of water. The children would enjoy themselves by rolling or jumping inside their bubbles.
Darius was certainly still too young for any of these rides, so it would probably be another few more years before he would get to sit in any one of them. ^^|

That human bubble looks REALLY FUN!!!
any age limit?
adults can???!! like me???!!! *laugh*
I’m not sure if there’s an age limit, but I’m sure as long as you pay the fees for it (S$6 per person, S$9 if shared by two), the uncles won’t have any reason to reject your offer? ^^
