Music Video for Darius’ 8th Month

To commemorate Darius’ 8th month, I’ve put up a simple music video comprising some of his recent clips. We had especially hired a well-known Catholic band from the United States to perform indivualized songs Live to Darius over at our home. One of the songs, titled “Do You Know”, is featured in the music video below.

Back to the individualized songs, who were I trying to kid with the band and Live thing? (My apologies though if I had got you tricked up there! :P )

This song was actually one of the tracks from the personalized audio CD that we have recently ordered from 75 Volts, a local company specialising in personalised gifts and stuff. We have purchased two albums, namely ‘Jesus Loves You’ and ‘You’re An Angel’.

Both albums feature songs where Darius’ name is mentioned at times, with ‘Jesus Loves You’ featuring joyous Christian songs while ‘You’re An Angel’ contains lullabies which will put our babies softly to sleep. So far the lullabies have proved to be effective for Darius since after we played the album during his sleeping time last night, he fell asleep soundly soon after. ^^

Dear Darius,

Your mom and dad have enjoyed your company over the past 8 months, and we will have many many more joyous months and years together! It has been a great fortune to have you as part of our family! ^^

It’s only 4 more months to his 1st Birthday! Whoa~ Time really goes by fast! o_0|

    I got tricked about the band, I was excited to find out who was the band hehe.

    The song is so cool, the video is fun to watch and I could feel how both of your love Darius so much. If I see video of my childhood, message from parents and personalized song, I would be so touched. I believe Darius will feel the same when he sees this video and message in the future.

    Probably you should say Your mom/ mom instead of Catherine =p

    Wow, nice MV! *thumbs up* The song goes perfectly with it too. Hmm, I should learn how to edit video clips too, so I can make one of these for my little girl in the near future. ^^

    Thanks for the encouragement! ^^

    To start off, you may wish to try using the Windows Movie Maker that comes with your Windows. It’s quite straightforward to use. Start by importing the videos you took and then just do some simple arrangements/transitions. After completion, export the resulting video, upload to YouTube, and you are done~ ^^

    Thanks for the tip. I use Mac though, which has iMovie instead. Will try to tinker with it first, or go back to my Windows machine if that fails me. :P
