Unlike the previous visits to the GP clinic for Darius’ assessments and vaccinations, he was there this morning for his cough.

His temperature had been running high since a few days back (see Darius Down with Fever), and after he recovered from the fever two days later, he had started coughing and having running nose.

"Say Ahhhh..."

After examining, the doctor diagnosed it as viral fever, and after the fever had recovered, phlegm was generated, blocking his nose and throat and thus causing him to cough. Fortunately, besides the cough, he appears to be alright.

He gave him some medicine and expected the symptoms to go off in three days’ time.

Since we are the caregivers, both Catherine and I have been infected somewhat, getting symptoms like cough, sore throat and running nose. We are advised to drink more water and have more rest.
