Bookshelf and Hi-Fi for Darius

This afternoon, I had especially made a trip down to AMK Hub’s Fair Price Xtra to purchase a small 3-tier bookshelf. Catherine had been wanting to get a bookshelf for Darius’ books, audio CDs and DVDs. These things had been lying around on the television console and sofa, making our living room messy and untidy.

We had earlier spotted this bookshelf over at Jurong Point’s branch, but it was then inconvenient to carry it back, with Darius and the stroller to carry with us.

Upon reaching AMK Hub, I realised the bookshelf was no longer available in Sky Blue, the colour we originally wanted, and so we could only settle for the beech one. Well, it wasn’t so bad actually, since it blended in pretty well in our living room. Furthermore, at only S$12.90, we couldn’t ask for more.

Catherine had also requested to shift our unused hi-fi from one of our rooms to the living room, so she could conveniently play music to Darius while they are there.

With these new arrangements, the place looks neater and more organised now.
