Another Omen?

Yesterday at East Coast Park, we witnessed an accident involving a child who was ’safely’ strapped onto a child seat on the bicycle (see Trip to East Coast Park). That made me give up on mounting one on my bicycle for Darius.

Today, as I were cycling alone to get lunch, I came past a set of broken child seat left scattered on the ground.

Littering aside, I shudder to think what might have happened to the user of the seat

Is this yet another bad omen/pre-warning to tell me never to put our Darius on a bicycle?
