Three long and two short ones.

That’s the number of candles that were on the fruit cake I bought this evening to celebrate my 32nd birthday. Technically though, it’s not the 32nd birthday cake that I’ve received throughout my entire life, since I’m pretty sure there were years when I didn’t receive any cake at all. ^^|

It was a simple affair, yet a special one since it’s my first birthday as a daddy and the first time Darius is celebrating with us! Imagine at the time of my last birthday, he didn’t even exist at all! How fast and unpredictable life have changed.

So, Happy Birthday to myself, and my greatest wish is to be able to celebrate each and every of my subsequent birthdays with my family in good health! (Though the number of candles ain’t that auspicious when counted in Mandarin)

God Bless all of us! ^^
