Darius has turned 7 weeks old, and here are some of the activities that he loves to engage in:

Hands Clapping

Cat has discovered since a week ago that Darius will open his mouth, sometimes with a smile, when we hold his hands and play with him by clapping his hands in quick successions. He seems to enjoy the game a lot:

Head Turning

Occassionally when Darius is lying down on his back, he will start turning his head left and right repeatedly, seemingly enjoying his newfound motor skills and observing the world around him. Cat and I always find this new behaviour of his very amusing:

Bears Interacting

When Darius is in a good mood and alone, he will look up and watch the baby mobile’s three bears above him. Sometimes he will even attempt to conversate with them, though we are not sure if he actually manages to receive any response from them. This was one morning when he was attentatively and quietly observing the bears:
