Dad, Mum & Son

Cat is feeling better now, and we requested our doctors to allow her to be discharged by this noon. However, they felt that it was too rushed as there were still several procedures and monitoring to be made.

After listening to their explanations, we agreed that we should stay here another day to make sure Cat can consume semi liquid food (porridge etc) without upsetting her intestines too much.

Firstly, we got her drip removed, as it is obstructing her mobility and it’s good opportunity to let her get the nutrients from food intake instead of intravenously.

Secondly, her catheter was removed. She had been strapped to it since delivery and had been affecting her mobility.

With these two devices removed, Cat could finally start to move down from her bed with more ease and walk around. It wasn’t exactly a comfortable walk but she felt slightly better after some exercise.

She also started to take in food and drinks with more nutrients, thus providing her with the strength to move around.

Hope these are good signs that she’s recovering well and we will be able to leave the hospital and continue her recovery back at home so that the three of us, dad, mum and son will be able to enjoy our blissful lives together.
