1)It is of medo-persian and Greek origin, and its meaning is “he possesses; rich, kingly“. Possibly a royal title, like Caesar. Historical: Darius the Mede (fifth century BC) assumed the kingship of Babylon after its conquest by Cyrus. He was a renowned king also known as Darius the Great. This name is popular with African-Americans.

2)He that informs himself
Biblical Name

3) The meaning of the name Darius is Upholder Of The Good

4) meaning “possesses a lot; wealthy.”

It does have a nice meaning and there’s a ‘Saint Darius’ listed in the Catholic Org so it’s suitable. Our baby will be well-off in life and ‘kingly’. If coupled with Leo, even better!
