Our immediate thought was that it will be a Rat Baby. I wanted a piggy and tried so hard but Rat ain’t so bad too. They are supposed to be intelligent people and natural leaders and they are good financially. If calculating further, then he or she might be a Leo or Virgo born in early August or late August respectively. Both are compatible signs with us…heehee. Leo especially good with Sagittarius. Maybe we are thinking too far ahead but well, positive thinking is good! ^^ I think it’s because we’ve really been waiting for a long long time, even planning names and such so we are a bit rushing into things.
After the initial excitement, we told ourselves to take one step at a time and think abt things later. Hubby was more anxious than me, already thinking of clothes heee. I think we really can’t help feeling excited. I went from one miserable individual to a happy person in one day. I’m overwhelmed…

After our first visit with the gynae, we were given an expected delivery day sometime in July 2008. Even though that was still a very rough estimate (can only get a more accurate date on our next visit), we will have to include the possibility that our child will be a Cancer too. Accordingly to Cat, this is a good sign too, as they tend to be more homely, which isn’t exactly a bad thing either.
Nine months sound like a short time, but it will probably pass by quicker than we will expect, since many things are in store for us and many things to be done too. Will be looking forward to start buying furniture and decorating our child’s room!
By the way, that is a very cute picture of a ‘rat’ from ratatouille!
